Control over quality standards
Transport & General Engineering Co Ltd employs it's own staff in all departments and makes minimal use of contractors. This gives us operational labour flexibility and control over quality standards. Procedures and systems have been developed to ensure all staff are responsible for their own work. At the completion of each unit a post audit review is carried out by our quality control supervisors and the job is then signed off for release to the customer.
Quality control systems are continually revised to ensure on-going improvements are made with our Transport Trailer product and systems.
All electrical and hydraulic systems are completed by fully qualified staff. Hand over to the customer is done with pride and fulfilment of a job well done.
The team at T&G is committed to ensure the customer is totally satisfied with the final product. A significant advantage to customer is the quick turn-around time with delivery.
Once a truck is received into the T&G workshop, our team works hard to ensure the customer receives their unit as soon as possible.
T&G is committed to the transport industry and has invested heavily in plant, equipment and a purpose built factory for the manufacture of our Transport Trailer product.
With thousands of alloy bodies now on New Zealand roads and 50 years experience in the transport industry, we are in for the long haul. We understand our clients and seek close and durable relationships, partnering for the long term.
